YOUR VERY OWN PATCH IN THE BAROSSA
Have you ever dreamt of having a vineyard in the beautiful Barossa? This is your opportunity! We invite you to become a Vine Donor, choosing your own vine in arguably the most unique vineyard in Australia. Grown under the watchful guidance of Barossa’s expert viticulturists, your vine is carefully nurtured throughout the seasons. Through regular updates, you can follow its progress, from the glory days of harvest when the fruit is handpicked, then transformed into wine and guided into bottle by world-renowned winemakers. And as a Vine Donor, you get the exclusive opportunity to purchase that wine.
You are invited to The Barossa Cellar for a private, hosted tasting and tour for two guests, where you’ll have VIP access to wine specially chosen from the 3000 bottle Vault. You will have the chance to walk through the vineyard (following phylloxera protocols of course), select your vine, which will be identified on your unique Vine Donor’s certificate.
Cost is $1,150 including one Shiraz vine and two guests for a hosted VIP tasting and tour.
ALREADY A VINE DONOR?
You are invited to enjoy a private, hosted tasting for two guests at The Barossa Cellar when you are next in Barossa. You'll have VIP access to wine specially chosen from the Vault and the chance to view the progress of your vine in this magnificent setting. inspect your vinWe’ll take you through a selection of wines and something aged and special from the Wine Vault.
Cost is $150 for two guests at the hosted VIP tasting and tour.
The Barossa Cellar is available for hire for events and activities which have a focus on wine education and wine promotion that supports the Barossa.
The Barossa Cellar is not available for private functions, including birthdays and weddings.

The Barossa Cellar has the following spaces available for hire, which can be viewed on the FLOOR PLAN.
The Grand Hall. The central area of The Barossa Cellar measues 36m long x 5.3m wide (204m2) and seats up to 100 people at a long table. Other configurations are possible, including round tables for dining, rows of chairs for seminars, rows of tables for wine tasting or classification. Access to the foyer is included when hiring the entire Grand Hall.
Zones 1-3. Built-in extendable partitions allow The Grand Hall to be divided into three equal zones (approx 13m long x 5.3m wide). Each zone has a separate entrance, with its own audio and temperature controls. Zones 1-3 are suitable for smaller events including board meetings, seminars, private tastings and masterclasses.
The Foyer. This open space covers 62.5m2 and is suitable for informal events, with sweeping views over the Valley floor.
The Kitchen. An additional hire rate is included for the commercial kitchen which has been designed to cater for a 100-person sit-down dinner. The kitchen is equipped with extensive stainless steel, mobile benches, overhead power, a commercial pass through dishwasher, a 10-tray Convotherm oven, 8 gas burner stove, 450 flat grill, 2X20L commercial deep fryers and a plate warmer/holding oven. The ovens and plate warmer are fitted for gastro norm pans, a limited number of which are included in the hire fee. The kitchen also includes a cool room and separate glass washing area with an RO glass washer.
The Wine Vault. This area is not available for hire however, if you are booking an event at The Barossa Cellar, access to it may be possible by prior arrangement.
The Lawn. The lawn in front of The Barossa Cellar is under development and is not currently available for Events.
