Virginia was born in Angaston Hospital in 1967 and has lived in the Barossa on and off for most of her life. She is a feminist, wife and mother, an artist/maker, small business owner and perpetual volunteer.

Her working life is spent managing a Bed and Breakfast cottage in Greenock, the Old Telegraph Station.

She was chairperson of Nuriootpa Kindergarten for 2 years, chairperson of Greenock Primary School for 15 years and chairperson of the Greenock Village Community Association for 15 years.

Virginia is a member of the Greenock Centennial Park Committee.

She has been treasurer of the Barossa Arts Council for the past ten years and, in that capacity, is a driving force for many of the arts events in this region.

Any spare moments she has are spent in her workshop, either sculpting, assembling, drawing, painting or depending on the amount of time, all of those things!

She is creatively inspired everyday by the beauty of the Barossa Valley where she and her husband Philip have lived most of our married life and raised our family.

Contributing to her community has been the foundation of everything she does. A strong believer in serving others and building community relationships, Virginia believes our reward is that we create a better environment for our families to grow, play and live in.
