Michael Page was raised in the Riverland on a mixed fruit block, with harvest in his blood from early childhood.

In 1989, at the age Of 19, he bought his own vineyard property, making him a 4th generation grower. One of the first people to trellis dry sultanas and harvest with a grape harvester for the dried fruit industry, he supplied fruit exclusively to Angas Park.

He sold that vineyard in 1995 and began work for Brian McGuigan, becoming assistant manager of viticulture and overseeing their first 400 acre vineyard development at Kingston-on-Murray.

During that time, Mick was an active member of the Barmera State Emergency Service, supporting the community in times of accident and hardship.

In 1997, he was transferred to the Barossa Valley to manage 3 vineyard properties in Vine Vale, Bethany and Angle Vale. A few years later, he moved to Torbreck Vintners as their viticulturist.

In 2002, Mick and Kym Teusner started Teusner Wines, building that to a successful winery brand and continued there until 2018 when they sold the brand. Coincidently that year, he completed 40 vintages in a row.

Deeply involved with the Tanunda Football club, he has been on various committees, a team manager for under 17's and B grade and continues to be on the sponsorship committee. Now the first of his grandchildren has started playing for Tanunda.

Married to Tracy, with 3 adult children, 2 adult step children and 3 grandchildren.

A committed supporter of Novita Children's Services, Mick and Tracy entered the Mighty River Run in 2012, fundraising for local children with disabilities. As of 2023, we have raised almost $300K, making us the highest fundraisers for this event since its inception, with more to come.
